Toronto · established 2020 · Microsoft-forward MSP
Relimited is the Microsoft-forward IT team for Canadian shops of eight to eighty. We run Entra, Microsoft 365, Defender, and the endpoints — and still pick up the phone when a printer decides to vanish.
We believe that
We know the stretch: one person who “does computers,” a mix of laptops bought in three different years, and a hope that backups exist because someone once saw a folder named Backup.
Relimited is built for that shop. Radiant Elements Limited — Toronto, established 2020, with leadership under that name in the city since 2011 — operates the practice. Domains held since 2020 and 2021. Delivery that scales with a bench already living in Microsoft 365, endpoints, and the unglamorous cable in the closet.
The budget is real. Security is not optional, and it does not have to sound like a US defence contractor brochure. There is no ticket too ordinary when the floor has to keep working.
If you are between “too big for a cousin” and “too small for a six-person IT department,” you are in the band we work. The owner keeps the customer work. We keep the tenant from becoming a second job.
Continuity
Radiant Elements Limited was established in Toronto in 2020. Leadership under that name reaches back further in the city. The domains that carry the company and the Relimited brand have been held without interruption since 2020 and 2021. The public work today is managed IT for Canadian shops of eight to eighty people — same legal entity, clearer program, written SLAs.

2011
Continuous commercial leadership under the Radiant Elements name from Toronto — strategy, delivery, and client conversations that stay Canada-facing.
2020
Radiant Elements Limited is established as a Toronto company. The legal-name domain radiantelementslimited.com is registered and held — a public web presence that still resolves today.
2021
The Canadian brand domain relimited.ca is registered in June 2021 and held continuously. The Relimited name becomes the public face of the practice.
Ongoing
Client conversations in Canada. On-site time in Toronto and the GTA when a drive is faster than a session. Secure remote support across the country.
Today
The public program is Relimited: Essential, Professional, and Premium managed IT — Microsoft 365, endpoints, backups, and a bench so one vacation is not an outage window.
A working thesis
The owner should not be the help desk. The vacation of one technician should not be your outage window.
That is the whole argument. Everything else on this site is how we keep it true on a Tuesday — in the tenant, on the floor, and in the agreement.
How the practice runs
Five stages, one agreement. You do not buy a slide deck — you buy the work that keeps each stage from becoming the owner’s second job.

Who this is for
Mail that must send. Files that must come back. A login that must match the person at the desk. We have seen the same Monday in very different waiting rooms.
Law, accounting, consulting, and agencies live in mail and files. We keep Microsoft 365 tidy, MFA on, and the inbox from becoming the incident.
Appointment systems and shared workstations cannot wait on a cousin who “does computers.” We lock down access and keep the front desk printing.
Laptops in vans, phones on job sites, a shop PC that still runs the quoting tool. We remote in first and drive when the part has to be swapped.
Scanners, shared drives, and a server that nobody wants to reboot on a shipping day. We design the network so guests stay off the floor systems.
Grant money does not love surprise ransomware. We size the plan to the board’s appetite and write the SLA in language a treasurer can read.
Too big for one heroic staffer, too small for a six-person IT department. That is the Relimited band.
Managed IT is a division of labour, not a takeover. The list below is the one we walk through on the first call.
Relimited owns
You keep
If a one-time clean-up is more honest than a retainer, we say so in the first conversation. If Premium is too much fortress for five people, we say that too.
A backup that has never been opened is a rumour. We run the drill so Thursday at 11:40 p.m. is a restore, not a eulogy.
PIPEDA-sensible retention, least privilege, MFA. We do not paste CMMC onto a bakery because it sounds expensive.
A portal that never calls back is not a help desk. Written SLAs. Toronto time. A technician who already knows the tenant.
01
We are the outsourced IT team. Monitoring, patching, tickets, and the quiet work that keeps Friday from becoming an outage — from the first access point to the last backup check. You keep a named path to a person, not a ticket void.
02
We procure, assign, and retire Microsoft 365 and the rest of the stack so you are not paying for ghost seats or guessing which SKU you actually need. Offboarding revokes the mailbox the same day the person leaves the building.
03
Slow workstation, a printer that vanished, a mailbox that will not send. There is no ticket too ordinary. We fix the small jobs so they never become the whole day — remote first, GTA on-site when the hands have to be in the room.
Practice areas
Microsoft-forward where the business already lives — Entra, Defender, Intune on higher tiers. Security and backup where the risk lives. Help desk where Mondays live.
Tenant, licenses, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra identity that matches the person at the desk — the day they arrive and the day they leave.
Defender for Office 365 patterns, MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint watch, and Secure Score reviews. PIPEDA-sensible defaults, not a US checklist taped on.
Air-gapped local copies plus encrypted cloud — and Microsoft 365 SaaS backup on higher tiers. A restore run once on purpose so Thursday at midnight is work, not theatre.
Wi-Fi, firewalls, and segmentation so guests stay off the quoting PC. The unglamorous cable still matters.
A reachable technician for the printer that vanished and the login that will not. Written SLAs. Toronto time for the conversation.
Quarterly notes on every plan. On Premium: Intune, Purview, Copilot readiness, budget, and what not to buy next year — in language a board can attach.
Microsoft consultancy
Most Canadian shops of eight to eighty already live in Microsoft 365. Relimited is a Microsoft-forward consultancy: Entra identity, Exchange and Teams, Defender for Office 365, Intune on higher tiers, Secure Score reviews, and adoption that does not end at the license invoice. Official Learn docs are linked from our Microsoft practice page — we implement them.
Buy what you use. Retire what you do not. The invoice should match the headcount.
Entra MFA, Conditional Access on higher tiers, and offboarding that actually closes the mailbox.
Defender for Office 365 patterns — Safe Links, attachment scanning — plus a restore path when something still gets through.
SaaS backup on Professional and Premium — because soft-delete is not a retention strategy.
Microsoft consultancy — products, processes, Learn linksMicrosoft 365 in the service catalogue
Our services
Eight practices. One agreement. You do not have to buy every line on day one — you do have to know someone owns each of them.
Antivirus, mail filtering, and encryption with Canadian privacy in mind.
We harden endpoints and mailboxes, then keep the controls current. Defaults lean toward PIPEDA-sensible retention and least privilege — not a US compliance checkbox copied onto a Canadian firm. The point is fewer surprise emails from a bank, an insurer, or a customer who got phished through you.
Air-gapped local copies plus encrypted cloud recovery you can actually run.
A backup that has never been restored is a rumour. We stand up local and cloud copies, test restores on a schedule, and keep recovery steps short enough that someone can follow them at 2 a.m. Air-gap plus encrypted cloud is the pair; “we have OneDrive” is not a disaster plan.
Diagnose, repair, replace — then scan so the next failure is not a surprise.
Hardware still fails. We support the servers and PCs you already own, plan replacements before they strand a payroll run, and run routine vulnerability scans so you are not discovering holes from a customer email.
A network designed so machines connect on purpose, not by accident.
We design and tend the internal network — switching, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and the unglamorous cable that still matters. The goal is simple: people and devices reach the right systems, and guests do not.
Licenses, identity, and the apps the business already chose.
Relimited sits between you and the vendors as a Microsoft-forward consultancy. We manage tenants across Entra, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Defender, and Intune where licensed — procurement through offboarding — until the license, the login, and the mailbox match the person at the desk. See the Microsoft practice page for product-by-product Learn links and the processes we run.
A reachable technician, not a portal that never calls back.
Secure remote sessions for the daily snags, with on-site time in the GTA when a hands-on visit is faster. Service levels go in the agreement — not in a slide.
The license matches the person at the desk — the day they arrive and the day they leave.
Most incidents in a shop of this size are not nation-state theatre. They are a mailbox still open after someone left, or MFA sitting on a phone in a drawer. We run joiners and leavers as a checklist: license, groups, devices, and the shared passwords nobody wrote down.
A roadmap a board can read — budget, risk, and what not to buy.
Premium includes a quarterly cadence: what broke, what we patched, what the insurer will ask next, and what the next twelve months of spend should actually be for. Essential and Professional still get a written note. Nobody should learn their IT plan from a surprise invoice.
Delivery bench
Relimited shows up at every stage that decides whether IT is quiet or loud. We look at the tenant and the devices, write a tier and an SLA, stabilize what is already creaking, then keep the watch — patches, mail, backups, and the tickets that would otherwise land on the owner. When the work needs a hand in the room, we schedule Toronto and the GTA. When a session is faster, we remote in. The point of the bench is simple: your vacation should not be someone else’s outage window.

What the week actually looks like
These are the hours that decide whether an MSP is real. We write them down because a catalogue of “cyber” words does not.
Monday, 8:14 a.m.
Someone left on Friday. Their license is still assigned, MFA is on a phone in a drawer, and the accountant is in the parking lot. We revoke the old seat, stand up the new one, and get payroll into the tenant before the first coffee is cold.
Tuesday, 2:03 p.m.
A bookkeeper clicked. Safe Links and attachment scanning are why Professional exists. We isolate the mailbox, check the rest of the tenant, and write down what we changed so it does not happen on the next invoice run.
Thursday, 11:40 p.m.
A dying disk does not wait for office hours. We already have an air-gapped copy and a restore we have run once on purpose. The overnight is a restore, not a eulogy.
Friday, 4:50 p.m.
A visitor asked for the password. It is also the password on the quoting PC. We split the networks, rotate the secrets, and write the guest sheet so the front desk stops handing out the keys to the floor.
The month an insurer called
The form is sitting in the owner’s inbox. Professional is built for that question: identity controls, SaaS backup, and a note a broker can attach. We do not invent a US compliance badge to make the PDF look taller.
The Monday after a vacation
A bench exists so the shop does not learn the password from a sticky note. We already have the guest network split, the floor systems segmented, and a technician who can open the ticket without starting from zero.
Quarter-end, board pack due
Essential gets a quarterly note a non-technical owner can read. Premium gets a vCIO roadmap. Nobody should learn the plan from a surprise invoice two days before the board meeting.
After the first quarter
We do not invent five-star quotes. We write down what should feel different once the program is actually running.
01
Phishing is filtered, leavers lose their seats the same day, and the inbox stops being the incident desk.
02
Backups are not a folder named Backup. Local and cloud copies exist, and someone has opened them on purpose.
03
The printer, the Wi-Fi, and the login that will not — those tickets land on a named path, not on the owner at 9 p.m.
04
MFA, mailbox backup, and identity controls are written down. Professional and Premium are built for that conversation.
Three managed tiers. We quote after we see the environment. No invented monthly numbers on this page. Essential is a floor. Professional is what most inbox-heavy firms should be on. Premium is the operations posture.
Plan
Always-on monitoring and a reachable technician for the shops that need a floor, not a fortress. The starting point when one person has been “doing computers” after hours.
Most chosen
Essential coverage plus Defender for Office 365 patterns, Entra Conditional Access, and SaaS backup — the tier we recommend when the inbox is the business.
Plan
Intune compliance, Purview/DLP, privileged identity, and a vCIO cadence against Microsoft Cloud roadmaps — for firms that cannot afford a quiet outage.
No 90-slide discovery. We look at the tenant, count the devices, and write down what we will own. Then the work begins in the order that stops the next outage — not the order that looks good in a proposal.
01
We ask for a tenant walkthrough, a device count, and the last three outages you remember. No 40-page RFP theatre. If a one-time clean-up is the honest next step, we say so.
02
You get a recommended tier, what we will watch, what we will not pretend to cover, and how to reach us. SLAs go in the agreement before the first remote session.
03
Week one is backups, MFA, and the noisy tickets. Month one is patching and mail hygiene. Quarter one is a report a non-technical owner can actually use.
04
Quarterly security notes on Essential. Identity and mailbox backup on Professional. A vCIO roadmap on Premium — budget, risk, and what to buy next year.
Why Relimited
Technology should not be a second job for the owner. You keep the customer work. We keep the tenant, the backups, and the patches.
The reputation we are building is simple: we say what we will do, then we do it on a written SLA. No foreign-sounding portal. No “we’ll get back to you” that means Thursday.
Radiant Elements Limited operates as Relimited — a Canada-facing practice with a delivery bench, not a lone hero whose vacation is your outage window. The company was established in Toronto in 2020; the Relimited brand domain has been held since 2021. Continuity you can look up.
The reputation we want is boring in the best way: mail that sends, a restore that has been run, and a person who already knows your tenant when the floor is quiet.
radiantelementslimited.com since 2020. relimited.ca since 2021. WHOIS is public; we do not invent founding myths.
Established as a Canadian company in Toronto. Client conversations stay Canada-facing. GTA on-site when remote is slower.
Practice mail on the Relimited name. Tenant work is day-to-day delivery — licenses, identity, mail hygiene, SaaS backup on higher tiers.
Least privilege, MFA, retention that fits Canadian small business — not a US defence checklist taped to the fridge.
Slow PC, vanished printer, mailbox that will not send. Local MSP work includes the small tickets so they never become the whole day — the Eonaz lesson, written for Canada.
Assess, propose, deliver, manage, support. The Alif lifecycle pattern — adapted to end clients, not white-label partner theatre.
A named path to people who already live in Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks, and restores. One person’s vacation is not your outage window.
Legal name, domains with creation dates, Canadian mail, Toronto on-site. Continuity is a paper trail, not a tagline.
Response and escalation live in the agreement — not in a slide that expires after signature.
We schedule the restore on purpose so the first real one is not the first ever.
PIPEDA-sensible retention, least privilege, MFA. No CMMC theatre for a bakery.
If a one-time clean-up beats a retainer, we say so in the first conversation.
Excellence here is not a slogan. It is a mailbox that still opens, a backup that has been restored once on purpose, and a person who answers when the floor is quiet and the disk is not.
Monitoring and patching do not keep shop hours. Escalations follow the SLA we sign, not a hope and a voicemail.
We help you reduce the usual IT risks — ransomware, mailbox fraud, messy access — with Canadian privacy in the defaults, not a US checklist taped to the fridge.
Essential, Professional, or Premium. Scale the program when the headcount grows or the insurer starts asking better questions.
Field notes
Not a blog. The short arguments that usually decide whether a shop needs Essential, Professional, or a one-time clean-up.
OneDrive syncs. Ransomware syncs too. Air-gapped local plus encrypted cloud — and a restore you have run once — is the pair that survives Thursday at midnight.
Microsoft Secure Score lists controls. We pick identity and mail first, implement what Professional or Premium covers, and re-score after change — then explain it in Canadian English.
MFA and mailbox backup are no longer optional questions. Professional is the tier that answers them without pasting a US compliance badge onto a Canadian shop.
Most incidents at this size are not nation-state theatre. They are a mailbox still open after someone left, or MFA on a phone in a drawer.
Microsoft 365 Copilot sees what your users can see. Overshared SharePoint and ghost guests make AI a liability. We assess readiness before anyone turns it on.
A dying disk in Hamilton does not care about your video call. Toronto and the GTA on-site exist so we do not pretend otherwise.
radiantelementslimited.com has been held since 2020. relimited.ca since 2021. Continuity is a registry fact — not a slogan we painted on last Tuesday.
Radiant Elements Limited operates as Relimited. Legal name in the footer. Brand on the door. One Canadian entity answering the mail.
Break-fix waits for the smoke. Managed IT watches the stack so fewer things catch fire — and still shows up when a printer vanishes. Relimited is the second kind, with on-site time in the GTA when remote is slower.
About Relimited
Toronto company established 2020. Leadership under the Radiant Elements name in this city since 2011. Domains held continuously since 2020 and 2021. The public work now is managed IT — Microsoft 365, endpoints, and the network underneath — with a bench so smaller firms stay on the air.
Read the timeline and the longer versionReady for a more stable version of the network you already have?
Remote first when a session is faster. On-site when the part has to be in a hand. We do not pretend a video call can reseat memory in Hamilton from a desk in Toronto — we schedule the drive.
